Private Tutoring
Grades (K-8)
Our private tutoring is designed to help students succeed in the classroom. We provide an individualized assessment for each student and work on building self-esteem, confidence in areas of concern and mastery of skills in the area of reading, writing and/or math.
Tutoring sessions are designed to help students improve their skills in reading, writing and/or math. We also provide 'back to basics' for students who are struggling with basic phonics, sight words, intro to reading, and general math principles. We also provide tutoring for students who are in need of organizational skills and homework assistance.
Tutoring sessions are semi-private, limited to 2 students per hour. We will assess students on their first session and review work samples. This first session is approximately 30 minutes in length, this session includes our initial assessment and is free of charge.
Tuition for tutoring is as follows:
- $25.00 non-refundable registration fee
- Semi-private tutoring session $35.00 per hour
- Private tutoring session $45 per hour
Tutoring sessions are available Monday through Friday from 4pm - 8pm and on Saturdays from 10am - 3pm. Students in grades K-8th are eligible for these sessions.
All of our tutoring staff hold professional degrees in the field of education or specific subject area. Instructors are certified teachers and hold Masters Degrees within the field of education and/or have extensive experience tutoring students in reading, writing and/or mathematics.
